One of my favorite things about fall is making heartier meals. I made this Chicken Corn Chowder for the first time a few years ago, and every time I make it, I wish I could eat it for every meal. It's one of my absolute favorites. Click on the title of this post to link to the recipe.
Green Peppers

Cooked, cubed chicken breast

Red potatoes

Clockwise from top left:
garlic, onion, jalapeno, red potato, cooked cubed chicken, green pepper

All of the veggies, simmering with the broth
While it was simmering, I went to check on Cameron. He was playing with a puzzle that Grandma Bakke brought over for him. I was proud to see it was able to put the correct shapes in the correct place! ;)

And apparently too tired to keep going!

With the milk added in

And ready to eat
My suggestions...Error on the side of too much bacon. There can never be too much, in my mind. And using corn cut straight off the cob makes for delicious bites of surprisingly sweet corn. Enjoy!
